Position: Payroll Specialist Status: Full Time (40 hours weekly) Schedule: Monday – Friday (8:00 am – 5:00 pm); no weekends or holidays Overview Keystone Health is seeking a reliable, detail‑oriented Payroll Specialist to join the finance team. Reporting to the Controller, the Payroll Specialist will oversee the payroll process, ensure payroll and tax compliance, and resolve payroll issues in a timely manner. Requirements

  • Education: Associate degree in accounting preferred; related payroll experience may be substituted for the degree.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of payroll experience.
  • Technical skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel.
  • Other skills: Basic ability to operate standard office equipment including calculator, copier, and fax.
  • Strong attention to detail, confidentiality, and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee end‑to-end payroll processing for all employees.
  • Ensure payroll tax compliance and timely filing of payroll taxes.
  • Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies and employee inquiries.
  • Coordinate with HR and benefits teams.
  • Ensure accuracy of payroll system.
  • Reconcile payroll to GL.
  • Assist with month‑end and year‑end payroll reporting as needed.
