About The Position

Are you an experienced Payroll Officer who loves accuracy, problem-solving and supporting people? Join our high-performing Payroll team and help deliver exceptional payroll services in a supportive, collaborative and growth-focused environment. In this role, you’ll be responsible for the end-to-end processing of payroll, maintaining accurate records, ensuring compliance, and providing outstanding customer service to employees and stakeholders. Requirements

  • Minimum 2+ years’ experience in end-to-end payroll processing (Chris21 preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of payroll legislation, tax and award interpretation
  • Experience with payroll/HRIS systems (e.g., Chris21, Kronos, Workday)
  • High attention to detail, problem-solving ability and confidentiality
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Intermediate Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables desirable)

Responsibilities

  • Process payroll accurately and on time, including wages, overtime and adjustments
  • Maintain and reconcile payroll records and resolve discrepancies
  • Ensure compliance with legislation, awards and company policies
  • Prepare reports and payroll documentation
  • Provide timely and professional support to employees with payroll queries
  • Collaborate with HR, Finance and broader payroll team members to improve processes
