As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a tech, media, and/or telecom location, you will monitor assigned areas, complete routine foot patrols, and stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will respond to alarms and concerns, document observations, and communicate clearly with employees, visitors, and onsite teams. Requirements

  • Be at least 21+ Years of Age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Lift More Than 20 lbs is preferred.
  • Alarm Panel Experience is preferred.
  • Customer Service Experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting issues and escalating concerns per post orders.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of offices, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Control access at designated entry points by confirming authorization, directing visitors, and assisting with visitor processes as required by site policy.
  • Complete routine documentation such as patrol logs, incident reports, and shift handoff notes, and communicate updates to site leadership and/or public responders when needed.
