About The Position

Community Care Physicians is looking for a full time Payroll Manager to join their team! Typical hours for this role are Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5pm. Flexible/Hybrid Schedule! CCP salary ranges are designed to be competitive with room for professional and financial growth. Individual compensation is based on several factors unique to each candidate, such as work experience, qualifications, and skills. Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay. Requirements

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of direct and progressive payroll processing experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years managing employees within a payroll/HR environment.
  • Experience in processing payroll for out of state employees.
  • Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) designation is required/ability to obtain within 1st year of employment. Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation preferred.
  • Proficiency in payroll software (preferably ADP Vantage) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong understanding of payroll regulations add best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and support Payroll Specialists, ensuring payroll processes are accurate, timely, and compliant.
  • Discuss, contribute and carry out strategic efficiencies with HR Leadership.
  • Oversee the preparation, processing, and reconciliation of payroll for all employees, including hourly, salaried, and contract workers.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws, including tax filings, garnishments, and wage reporting.
  • Maintain and update payroll records, including pay rates, tax withholdings, benefits, and deductions.
  • Collaborate with HR to manage employee benefits deductions, direct deposits, and payroll adjustments.
  • Address and resolve complex payroll issues and employee inquiries.
  • Generate and distribute payroll reports for management, audits, and regulatory compliance.
  • Support year-end payroll activities, including W-2 preparation and tax filings.
  • Ensure payroll systems are functioning correctly and work with vendors or IT for troubleshooting and updates.
  • Work closely with our HRIS vendor and accounting firm ensuring compliance of out of state taxes associated with payroll.
