About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Payroll Data Entry Intern to support the setup and validation of new hire employee data. This entry-level role focuses on ensuring accurate data transfer between onboarding and payroll systems, as well as maintaining employee documentation. This is an in-person role located in Greeley from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday-Friday.

Requirements

Strong computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Excel and data entry systems
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to follow processes and work with structured data
Good organizational and time management skills
Ability to handle confidential information responsibly
Strong communication skills.

Nice To Haves

Exposure to HR, onboarding, or payroll systems (e.g., Workday, ADP)
Experience with document management or administrative support tasks

Responsibilities

Review and validate new hire information transferred between onboarding and payroll systems for accuracy and completeness
Cross-check employee data (e.g., name, address, pay rate, tax details) across multiple systems to ensure consistency
Identify and resolve discrepancies or missing information prior to final system entry
Upload, organize, and maintain digital employee documents in accordance with company standards
Perform basic data entry for new hires as needed to support the payroll team
Assist with employee offboarding processes, including data updates and documentation handling
Provide general clerical and administrative support to the payroll team as needed
Maintain strict confidentiality when handling sensitive employee information
