As part of our involvement, Jefferson Industries Corporation offers design and development for press dies and other tools necessary to produce automotive products. Position Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Payroll Coordinator to support our team. This role will play a crucial part in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of payroll processing, as well as providing administrative support for various HR functions. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of payroll procedures, HR practices, and a passion for maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance. This is an onsite position. This is an onsite position (core schedule of Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 4:00pm). Requirements

  • 2+ years payroll experience
  • Experience with hourly and salary payroll in a fast-paced environment, preferred
  • Experience with Paycom is a plus, but not required
  • Strong knowledge of payroll laws and regulations
  • Proficient in Excel, including advanced formulas like VLOOKUP, SUMIF, and INDEX/MATCH
  • Excellent organizational, communication, time-management, and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently, and in a team setting
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Strong attention to detail

Responsibilities

  • Process weekly payroll for all hourly and salary associates
  • Follow internal process procedures and identify areas of improvement
