About The Position

Cornerstone Family Healthcare is actively recruiting for a Payroll Coordinator to join our growing team in Cornwall. General Purpose: The purpose of the Payroll Coordinator is to process weekly and bi-weekly payrolls accurately and in a timely manner.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of payroll experience
  • Strong Interpersonal and Communication Skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Nice To Haves

  • Associate or Bachelor’s Degree (Preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Processes payroll on a weekly and biweekly basis through Paylocity.
  • Reviews all personnel payroll changes entered within the Paylocity database.
  • Be familiar with Cornerstone policies, procedures, and the Employee Handbook
  • Maintains payroll processing files and time and effort reports.
  • Remains current on all changes implemented in Paylocity impacting payroll processing.
  • Performs a wide variety of record keeping and payroll processing activities, including computing wage and overtime payments, calculating deductions and paycheck advances/corrections.
  • Provides information and answers to employee questions about pay-related matters.
  • Maintains the payroll department email.
  • Inspecting automated system output such as registers and standard reports.
  • Attend and participate in monthly department, All Staff and other required meetings.
  • Be familiar with and adhere to all clinical, administrative, and general policies and procedures as outlined in the Cornerstone Policy and Procedure Manual and Employee Handbook.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all aspects of Cornerstone including, but not limited to, patient confidentiality, financials, and employee relations.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
