About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Payroll Consultant to support payroll operations and a potential payroll system migration. This consultant will play a key role in ensuring payroll accuracy, compliance, and a smooth transition through testing, auditing, and configuration support. This contract role has an assignment of 3-4 months, working 15-25 hours per month in an entirely remote setting.

Requirements

• Strong experience with ADP Workforce Now
• Payroll experience with both hourly and salaried employees
• Expertise in federal and state payroll tax compliance

Nice To Haves

• Payroll software migration experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Support payroll for weekly and biweekly hourly and salaried employees
• Consult on payroll system migration, including configuration, testing, and auditing
• Ensure compliance with federal and state tax regulations, including New York workers’ comp and disability
• Troubleshoot payroll issues and provide best-practice guidance
