About The Position

This is position is for a Payroll Clerk at the Anaheim Convention Center. Responsible for calculating accurate weekly payroll including gratuities, administrative fee splits, commission and PTO/Vacation. Reconciliation of yearly vacation spreadsheet. Provide general office support to the Accounting and Human Resources Departments. Requirements

  • 3 plus years in processing and transmitting payroll is required
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word
  • Knowledge of California Wage & Hour laws is required
  • Attention to detail

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of ABI payroll platform is a plus
  • Bilingual in Spanish a plus but not required
  • Experience in an union environment is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for generating correct and accurate payroll checks.
  • Transmit payroll weekly electronically to corporate office.
  • Collect daily Employee Time Audits from management.
  • Generate Payroll Weekly Violation Report and Payroll to Sales Report.
  • Ensure absolute privacy of all employees’ information and of any disciplinary actions.
  • Assist management with corrections on the Employee Time Audit Report.
  • Provide employees with Payroll Discrepancy Forms when requested and forward them to Staffing or HR Manager.
  • Responds to employees regarding Payroll Discrepancy outcome.
  • Assist with Wage & Hour on large events when request.
  • Ensure complete compliance with government and company standards within the payroll field.
  • Adhered to Union CBA requirements.
  • Communicate to Controller of any extenuating circumstances within the payroll field.
  • Reports H&W to the union.
  • Updates payrates according to the CBA cadence.
  • Partners with HR and Staffing to set up new hire information into ABI
  • Assists Staff with MYPAY
  • Manages files for payroll and union deduction forms.
  • Ensures security or company assets
  • Ensure adherence to Aramark policies and procedures and operate within the guidelines of the Aramark Business Conduct Policy
  • Miscellaneous tasks as assigned by Manager
