About The Position

The role of the Regional Payroll Specialist is to manage payroll processing, liaise with third-party providers, and respond to employee inquiries related to payroll, timekeeping, benefits, and associated company policies. Supporting the assigned region, this individual thrives on solving problems and working independently to meet payroll deadlines while ensuring compliance with local labour laws and statutory requirements. Key Responsibilities Payroll Processing and Compliance: Ensures Accountability, Business Insight Review and audit timesheets and payroll reports, manage payroll cutoffs, and ensure accurate and timely payroll processing. Certify payroll transactions to reflect correct compensation levels and withholdings in compliance with local labour laws. Manage payroll-related activities for new hires, terminations, transfers, one-time payments, equity, and fringe benefits. Audit year-end payroll activities for regional payrolls and provide supporting documentation for internal and external audits. Vendor and Internal Collaboration: Collaborate, Customer Focus Serve as a regional payroll subject matter expert for associates and internal partners. Work closely with internal teams, third-party vendors, and local agencies for timely processing of payroll funds, tax payments, amendments, and regulatory filings. Partner with accounting teams to ensure accurate payroll funding each month. Build strong relationships within the People team and other departments to provide payroll expertise. Requirements

  • International payroll experience.
  • Experience in benefits administration.
  • Knowledge of global payroll best practices, country-specific regulations, and tax filing requirements.
  • Proficiency in full-cycle payroll processes, including compiling data, processing, and reporting.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel.
