About The Position

The People's Food Co-op of Ann Arbor is seeking a 16-24 hour a week Payroll and Benefits coordinator. The role offers great flexibility with scheduling, with only every other Monday morning being mandatory for payroll processing.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from a four year college or university; or one or two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist with hiring, onboarding, and training
• Ensure compliance with equal opportunity laws in recruiting, hiring, training, compensation and termination
• Maintain personnel files
• Maintain records on medical insurance, workers comp, unemployment claims
• Lead orientation for new staff
• Process payroll
