About The Position

Watson Hygienics is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Assistant to support accurate and timely payroll processing. This full-time hybrid role will assist with payroll data entry, timekeeping review, and compliance tasks while working closely with HR and accounting teams to ensure employees are paid correctly and on time.

Requirements

  • 1+ year of payroll, accounting, HR, or administrative experience preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
  • Familiarity with payroll software and timekeeping systems a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Workspace
  • Ability to handle confidential information professionally
  • Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills

Responsibilities

  • Assist with bi-weekly and monthly payroll processing
  • Enter, verify, and maintain employee payroll data and records
  • Review timesheets, attendance records, and pay adjustments for accuracy
  • Support payroll deductions, benefits entries, and tax-related processing
  • Respond to employee payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies
  • Maintain confidential payroll records in compliance with regulations
  • Assist with payroll reports, audits, and reconciliations
  • Coordinate with HR and accounting teams on payroll-related tasks
