About The Position

Assists with staff scheduling, timekeeping, reporting, and other payroll-related functions in support of operations. Performs a variety of administrative duties in support of Nursing Administration and other assigned functional areas.

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree Accounting required or Associate's Degree Finance required or Associate's Degree Business Administration required or Associate's Degree Related Field of Study required
  • Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree? Yes
  • Experience in timekeeping processing, payroll processing, or financial administration, preferably in a healthcare setting 2-3 years required
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in payroll software and financial systems.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive financial information with confidentiality.
  • Problem-solving skills with the ability to manage and resolve payroll issues efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Manages daily schedules, alerts leaders of staffing challenges, and prepares regular reports regarding staffing.
  • Performs administrative support for assigned departments, including secretarial duties.
  • Tracks and reconciles staffing discrepancies, coordinating with relevant departments to address any issues.
  • Prepares and submits timekeeping reports to management and finance departments.
  • Supports annual audits by providing necessary payroll data and documentation.
  • Maintains timekeeping records and ensures compliance with hospital policies and relevant regulations.
