Knowledgeable in North America & Puerto Rico payroll processing and analytics, apply skills and experience to resolve non-routine and complex payroll issues that may affect HR, Commissions, or Finance. Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve issues, communicate resolutions with impacted parties, document resolutions, and recommend preventative actions. Coordinate payroll activities for special, unique, and annual payments such as minimum wage updates, annual bonuses, or annual health insurance changes. Identify tables and codes for revisions; validate revisions & updates accuracy and effective dates. Import, validate, and load time-keeping; calculate retroactive pay and overtime changes. Validate PTO programs accrue and deduct accurately. Reconcile year-end vacation cut-off and purge. Prepare journal entries with supporting documentation. Prepare financial reports and forecast expenditures for treasury and finance. Reviews, verifies, and tracks gathered documentation for internal audits and litigation requests. ·Test payroll software revisions and releases for usability (UAT) and functionality (SIT) against business and one’s own expectations. Document test script failures; working outside the test script, apply experience of real world situations and document failures. Provide feedback to software release team. Draft Gantt chart charts, job aids, process flow charts, procedures and similar to support effective operations. Recommend continual improvements to increase efficiencies. Minimum Requirements Education Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Management Information Systems or equivalent discipline. In lieu of bachelor’s degree, an additional four years of directly related analytical and systems experience may be considered. Experience At least 2 years Workday Payroll analytics experience Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) preferred Experience with SOX 404 internal control procedures for payroll Strong excel (Pivot tables, index) working application Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Accurate mathematical and reconciliation skills Professional verbal and written communication skills Process and continual improvement driven Ability to research and learn advanced Excel skills to enhance efficiencies and effectiveness Who we are.
