About The Position

The Payroll/Expense Administrator will support the Human Resources Director in processing bi-weekly timecards, payroll, and expenses. The Payroll/Expense Administrator will have exceptional organizational skills and professionalism and will operate with high attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Exceptional ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact professionally with various stakeholders.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite, Deltek Costpoint, ADP Workforce Now and other relevant software tools.
  • Resourceful and proactive in identifying issues and implementing solutions independently
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with extreme discretion and maintain confidentiality at all times.
  • Minimum 3 years of payroll administration experience.
  • High School Diploma Required

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in the Defense contracting space strongly preferred.
  • Experience working in a FOCI mitigated organization preferred.
  • Basic understanding of global business organizations and processes.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field Preferred

Responsibilities

  • Full-cycle bi-weekly processing, to include timecards, payroll, and expenses, in a multi-State/multi-jurisdiction environment with accuracy and timeliness for all employees.
  • Process and distribute off-cycle checks for terminations, bonuses, etc.
  • In conjunction with HR, maintain employee records, supporting documentation, and employee data for garnishments and deductions, including 401k and benefits.
  • Handle payroll inquires and resolve discrepancies promptly and professionally.
  • In conjunction with the Director, ensure compliance with Federal, State, and Local payroll regulations.
  • Other duties as assigned.
