About The Position

As a Payroll Administrator, you will be responsible for assisting the Finance department in all facets of accounting including, but not limited to: Payroll, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Contract Management, Expense Management, Cash Management, Budgeting, Forecasting, Taxes and Internal and External Audits.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Minimum of one (1) year in budgeting or finance; previous experience with Unanet preferred
  • Proficient with payroll software
  • Understanding of Federal Government Contract Compliance Regulations found in the FAR, CAS, etc.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
  • Collaborative team player who embraces challenges

Responsibilities

  • Process payroll accurately and on time for all employees.
  • Maintain employee records, including hours worked and deductions.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations in a multi-state environment.
  • Handle payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies promptly.
  • Prepare and distribute payroll reports for management review.
  • Collaborate with HR to update employee compensation and benefits information.
