The other requirements & duties listed below are representative of the minimum essential knowledge, skills, and abilities required to perform the job.

Requirements

  • Must possess experience with Payroll systems; Workday experience preferred.
  • Excellent computer skills such as MS Word, Excel, Access & Internet Explorer.
  • Must possess excellent attention to detail.
  • Professionalism, intelligence, and a sense of urgency are required.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, sound judgment, and the ability to achieve detailed and accurate results under pressure.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to take initiative.
  • Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks and meet all deadlines
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to consistently meet deadlines and prioritize workload effectively.
  • Experience using Workday Preferred or other enterprise-level financial/accounting systems required.
  • Experience working in multi-system accounting environments preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for daily uploads from proprietary software into the payroll system for new hires and changes
  • Responsible for adding information into the payroll system that is not captured by the daily upload, including but not limited to EEOC, direct deposit, and tax information.
  • Manage all payroll error reports from the proprietary software and ensure errors are cleared for payment
  • Responsible for notifying the field of any address changes received through the payroll system
  • Responsible for the processing and responding to wage garnishments and support orders
  • Conducts employment verifications and reference checks as requested.
  • Assist with responses to employee payroll issues & inquiries promptly and enforces all corporate payroll policies.
  • Assist Human Resource Staff and Executives as needed or required.
  • Must possess excellent customer and employee "service."
