About The Position

Join our team as a Technology Finance Business Manager, where you will partner with senior technology managers to build financial plans, drive transparency, and support large-scale productivity initiatives. This high-impact role offers the opportunity to influence technology expense management and deliver insights to senior leadership. As a Technology Finance Business Manager within the Commercial & Investment Bank, you will collaborate with senior management to develop financial plans, analyze performance, and identify cost-saving opportunities. Your role involves managing headcount and financial processes, providing executive reporting, and supporting monthly and annual planning cycles.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related area.
  • 3 years of experience in Technology Business Management and Financial Management.
  • Prior experience in Business Management or COO role.
  • Proven experience delivering timely, high-quality presentations and reporting.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and project management skills.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Pivot Tables).
  • Self-motivated, tenacious, and able to work independently.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills.
  • Attention to detail with a continuous focus on design excellence.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with FinOps and AWS costing methodologies.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with senior technology managers to build financial plans and conduct budget, forecast, and variance analysis.
  • Assist in interpreting performance vs. plan and financial forecasting results.
  • Ensure processes provide transparency on expenses, focusing on key drivers.
  • Support large-scale productivity agendas and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Provide insight and transparency around technology expenses, delivery schedules, and resource agendas.
  • Deliver management and client reporting, focusing on business unit performance against objectives.
  • Proactively highlight issues and risks, derive solutions, and drive remedies to completion.
  • Build strong relationships with Controlling, P&A, and Strategy teams.
  • Manage headcount and financial processes, including monthly forecasting and annual planning.
  • Oversee the monthly financial reporting process, including executive management reporting.
  • Apply knowledge of FinOps and AWS costing methodologies to financial management.
