About The Position

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Payment Processor to join our Remittal Department . This position plays a key role in helping ensure the accurate posting and reconciliation of payments made to the company. Requirements

  • Strong attention to detail and high accuracy in processing payments
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
  • Experience using computers, 10-key calculator, copiers, and office equipment
  • Comfortable working with tight deadlines and client requirements
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Fast learner with a proactive attitude
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1+ year of administrative or payment processing experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Post incoming payments to customer accounts
  • Scan and reconcile daily deposits to the bank
  • Perform client and bank reconciliation
  • Prepare, verify, and record transactions related to accounts receivable
  • Validate payment batches for accuracy
  • Research and resolve discrepancies in customer/client payments
  • Collaborate with client service teams to ensure accounts receivable accuracy
  • File and retrieve A/R documentation as needed
  • Update internal records with client/payment information
  • Support additional clerical functions as assigned
