About The Position

Payment Operations Manager Join an industry leader and our growing team! AllSouth Federal Credit Union is seeking a Payment Operations Manager. The Payment Operations Manager will be responsible for leading and managing Federal Reserve and Payments functions within our Operations Department. This includes, but is not limited to, Automated Clearing House (ACH), Fed Wire, Check Processing, and Mobile Deposit functions. Responsibilities also include: Ensuring payment functions are completed in accordance with established Credit Union policies, procedures, standards, and government regulations including NACHA rules; Assisting with risk assessments for Payments functions and conducting internal quality assurance reviews; Working with management and ITS staff to test and revise contingency plans for emergency situations; Assisting in developing short-term and long-term goals and plans & reviewing existing policies and procedures; and Effectively utilizing/supervising/training department staff, tracking workflow, and ensuring deadlines are met. What makes a successful Payment Operations Manager? Someone who has… In-depth knowledge of NACHA and Green Book rules, UCC Article 4, Regulation J, and Regulation E; At least four (4) years of progressive Operations/Payments experience in a financial institution; Associates degree in Finance, Business, or related field or an equivalent combination of education, training, and job experience; Previous supervisory experience; Excellent customer service skills; and Strong verbal, non-verbal, and written communication skills. Requirements

  • In-depth knowledge of NACHA and Green Book rules, UCC Article 4, Regulation J, and Regulation E
  • At least four (4) years of progressive Operations/Payments experience in a financial institution

  • Previous supervisory experience
