About The Position

Position Summary: Post all payments from insurance carriers and patients in an accurate and timely manner. Balance daily work between practice management system and bank report. Work with multiple software systems and websites.

Requirements

High School diploma or GED required.
1-2 years’ experience in processing cash and insurance payment transactions in a medical setting or a relevant financial background or any combination of the two is preferred.
Understanding of insurance payment processes and how to read an Explanation of Benefits (EOB) is preferred.
Ability to process a large amount of transactions with a high degree of accuracy preferred.
Proficient in working with figures and strong analytical skills.
Ability to work under pressure and to work flexible hours to meet deadlines.

Nice To Haves
