About The Position

The Claims Payment Analyst is responsible for reviewing, analyzing and processing claims payment requests for automotive repairs. The individual will determine the appropriate payment amount by validating the billing information submitted against the authorization information, while adhering to internal policies and procedures. JOB REQUIREMENTS (key success factors, types and amounts of work experience, areas of knowledge, relocation): • Must be detail oriented. • Must have excellent organizational skills with the ability to multi-task effectively. o Situational awareness related to the departments goals and objectives, knowing when to challenge the status quo in a professional manner o Critical thinking skills applied to daily operational activities o Daily management of individual phone and technical resources (e.g. clockwork, AUX codes) • Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills with demonstrated ability to communicate effectively. o Ability to collaborate face to face with various departments and team members to resolve customer payment related issues o Direct training and guidance of less tenure staff related to payment policies and procedures as needed • Must work well in a fast paced environment with multiple changing priorities / deadlines. o Quickly grasp and put into practice new processes and technical enhancements o Flexibility to effectively and autonomously transition from one work queue to another as business needs arise • Ability and willingness to work overtime, Saturdays and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Determine the appropriate payment amount by validating the billing information submitted against the authorization information.
  • Use multiple computer programs to process claims, review policies and procedures, labor times, and retrieve documents
  • Process payments to a dealer’s statement, by check or credit card.
  • Adhere to internal policies and procedures.
