About The Position

As a Fraud Investigations Specialist, you will work with our team of Fraud Investigations Analysts reviewing payments transactions and player behavior to identify fraudulent activity. The work requires attention to detail and extensive and accurate documentation. An interest in sports and sports betting is helpful, but not an absolute must. This position is in either Las Vegas or Northern New Jersey.

Requirements

• 1 year of experience in the payments and fraud industry preferred
• 1 year of experience responding to internal and external escalations
• Strong data analysis skills and Excel experience
• Ability to devise and implement solutions quickly, often coordinating with multiple teams
• Attention to detail and adaptability to shifting fraud trends
• Excellent communication, teamwork and interpersonal skills
• Previous experience working in a highly regulated industry
• Enthusiastic about identifying and preventing fraud
• Proactive and willing to help improve our fraud strategy by communicating observed fraud patterns
• Organized and proficient at managing multiple tasks throughout the day
• Able to maintain confidentiality

Responsibilities

• Carry out day-to-day tasks such as responding to escalations, verifying player identities, investigating suspicious account activity, documenting account closures, and monitoring new account registrations
• Ensure that all day-to-day tasks are completed in accordance with our standards
• Report any adverse trends, issues and/or anomalies to senior analysts
• Collaborate with customer service teams to ensure that we continue to provide the best user experience for our players while protecting our platform from malicious behavior
