Requirements

  • Hotel Accounting or Payroll experiences, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, are preferred.
  • Professional and excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are required.
  • Problem solving and analytical skills are required.
  • Be able to work independently and take ownership of problem-solving process.
  • Be flexible with working hours to meet accounting deadlines.
  • Be able to carry or lift items weighing up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

  • Complete weekly payroll before deadline, including wages, tips, extra pay, paid time off and so on.
  • Verify weekly Food & Beverage tips and Front Office porterage are correct based on Micros and Opera reports
  • Assist in weekly paycheck distributions to department heads.
  • Work closely with People & Culture in employee benefits reconciliations.
  • Work closely with department heads with payroll questions and concerns.
  • Be able to work with flexible hours to meet payroll and/or month-end deadlines.
  • Be able to take on ad hoc projects from Finance leaders and be flexible with other Accounting tasks.
  • Be a team player and maintain good working relationships with the team.
