WHY PATIENTS NEED YOU Since PAXLOVID’s emergency use authorization on 12/22/21, PAXLOVID has helped treat over 19M patients at high-risk from progression to severe COVID-19, which can lead to hospitalization and/or death. Now that PAXLOVID is FDA approved and commercialized in the U.S., this novel protease inhibitor is positioned to remain the gold standard in COVID-19 treatment, despite competitive entry expected in 2025. Significant opportunity to increase treatment rates for eligible patients and bolster PAXLOVID’s leadership position in the marketplace continues, as new clinical data, RWE, and label indications are anticipated throughout 2024 and 2025. WHAT YOU WILL ACHIEVE The HCP Marketing Director, Customer-Facing and Channel Strategy will be a critical contributor to the PAXLOVID team. This role will be integral to shaping field force strategy across channels (3) and field forces (5), developing specific marketing materials and messages for the field, evaluating impact of various field force strategies, tactics and messages and adapting materials, messages and tactics accordingly. This role will partner with the CEP organization and the Customer Channels Platform team to accelerate performance in Primary Care, Urgent Care, and Hospital channels. They will also have leadership responsibility for Field Force strategy and execution, leading and coaching the HCP Marketing Director, Field Force Marketing and Enablement (Grade 15), the HCP Marketing Senior Manager, Field Force Marketing (Grade 13), and the Hospital Marketing Secondee. HOW YOU WILL ACHIEVE IT Channel Strategy: Primary Care, Urgent Care, Hospital Co-Lead Brand Acceleration Team (BAT). Define and continually optimize strategy for 3 core priority channels: Primary Care, Urgent Care, and Hospital – all unique channels and needs. Identify specific opportunities and engagement strategy within channels (e.g., Corporate Urgent Care, Hospital Emergency Departments) based on data analysis, market research, and field insights. Regularly analyze performance by channel and help present to leadership and/or CFC leadership to share updates on brand performance, strategy and key insights needed to drive execution. Lead partnerships and develop sponsorship opportunities with Acute Care organizations (e.g., UCA, ACEP). Partner with ISE to generate channel (site of care) KPIs/performance analytics. Assess program and tactic performance, leveraging analytics and research to identify successes and opportunities to optimize. Field Force Strategy Lead Field Force strategy across multiple sites of care. Coordinated strategy and execution across Field Forces (5) – Inizio (CSO), Inizio Urgent Care Specialists, CV, HSSS, Pfizer Connect. Oversee the evolution and optimization of Dynamic Targeting and Next Best Action strategy. Translating field force metrics into strategy and tactical plans. Serve as critical liaison with sales leaders, routine touchpoints with sales Leads & ABMs. Evolve and grow Inizio Urgent Care Specialist role to drive impact in Urgent Care channel – in partnership with CCP, CEP, Commercial Effectiveness, and external CSO partner. Field Force Marketing Resources Lead and coach marketing colleagues in creation of marketing resources for the field force to drive impact on addressing HCP barriers to prescribe PAXLOVID for eligible patients. Oversee development of critical hospital tactics executed by hospital secondee (ex. formulary kit, discharge kit, pharmacy tactics). Oversee PAXLOVID POA meetings for 5 Field Forces (1000+ CFCs). Collaborate across internal and external stakeholders: brand team, CEP, CCP, medical, RC, media, communications, CMO, and agency partners.
