About The Position

We are seeking a highly motivated and reliable Patrol Guard/Dispatch to join our team in Ann Arbor, MI. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our clients' properties by patrolling designated areas and responding to emergency situations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays

Nice To Haves

• Previous security or law enforcement experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Patrol designated areas on foot or in a vehicle to ensure the safety and security of the property
• Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security of premises
• Respond to alarms and emergency situations, such as fires and medical emergencies
• Investigate and report incidents, such as accidents, thefts, and property damage
• Write detailed reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences
• Provide assistance to customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner
• Dispatch appropriate personnel and equipment in response to emergency situations
• Monitor and operate security equipment, such as CCTV, alarms, and access control systems
• Perform other duties as assigned by management
