Legend Biotech is seeking a Patients Supply Operations, Technical Development Intern as part of the Technical Development team based in Somerset, NJ. Role Overview Legend Biotech is seeking an Intern as part of the Patients Supply Strategy & Operations team based in Somerset, NJ to support the Product Supply Logistics team. This role is designed for undergraduate students interested in supply chain, operations, or logistics within the biotechnology industry. The intern will support the coordination of time critical, temperature-controlled materials used in clinical trials. This internship provides hands on experience with end-to-end supply chain operations, Inventory Management, vendor coordination, and exposure to regulated (GMP) environments.

Requirements

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Motivated, highly organized and muti-tasking skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team player.
  • Coursework or project experience in: supply chain operations, logistics, inventory management
  • Interest in pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare industries.
  • Experience working in team‑based or project‑based environments.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with coordinating shipments, receiving, and tracking of materials across multiple internal and external sites.
  • Support logistics activities for raw materials, patient samples, and clinical supplies.
  • Help maintain accurate shipment documentation and tracking records.
  • Assist in coordinating domestic and international shipments.
  • Support communication with logistics vendors and internal teams.
  • Help identify and track shipping issues and assist with resolution.
  • Support basic data tracking, reporting, and metrics related to logistics performance.
  • Assist in documenting and updating standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to Logistics.
