About The Position

Position Summary: Transports patients of all ages to and from all departments within the hospital complex in a friendly, professional and ethical manner. Trained to perform all Physical Therapy, Radiology, Nursing, Admitting and patient discharge transportation requirements. Must display strong leadership and coordination. Performs other related duties.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Current BLS certification required
• Must be able to lift, move and transport patients, be able to communicate with patients and staff and adhere to hospital safety standards and proper body mechanics
• Must be patient focused and customer service oriented

Nice To Haves

• Bilingual - English and Spanish preferred
• Previous experience in customer service preferred
