About The Position

Patient Support Services Nurse - This P/T position (10 hours/week) is responsible to provide and oversee indirect patient care in accordance with established Provider protocols/orders. Utilizes knowledge of medications, lab values, procedures, infection control, and safety precautions; and initiates appropriate intervention in crisis situations. Manages medication refill requests and other clinical support requests daily. This position will be required to participate in continuous quality management, analyze information, track and report PN outcome data, attend appropriate leadership meetings, develop infection surveillance processes and participate in Joint Commission Accreditation maintenance.

Requirements

  • Requires a current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of Utah
  • Previous supervisory experience
  • Computer literacy
  • Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to interact, relate to and communicate well with clinic staff and providers
