About The Position

As a Patient Support Coordinator, you will ensure a memorable patient experience by using listening skills to determine the customer’s needs and to assist them with a resolution in an efficient manner.

Requirements

  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Computer proficiency with the ability to navigate between multiple computer screens/program while talking with the patient.
  • Demonstrates a desire to help other and to make an impact in patient’s lives
  • Demonstrates an understanding and adherence of the Code of Conduct and HIPPA guidelines
  • High School diploma or equivalent

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in typing and data entry, preferred
  • Experience working in a medical office, preferred
  • Electronic health record experience, preferred.
  • EClinical Works experience, highly desired.
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish, preferred

Responsibilities

  • Ensure a positive patient support experience by greeting callers with readiness to solve their problems; answering questions and the sensitivity and patience to understand their needs.
  • Identifying and resolving customers’ issues using active listening and problem-solving skills
  • Building a positive rapport across a variety of personality types
  • Putting the patients first and remaining polite and professional at all times
  • Schedule new and existing patients in the correct office with the proper physician.
  • Meets the goals for average handle time, hold times and quality scores on Inbound and Outbound calls
  • Respects and always maintains privacy and dignity of patient’s information to assure client confidentiality
