The hospital has more than 200 physicians on staff, as well as another 700 employees. Responsibilities A Patient Sitter is an unlicensed non-certified assistive person who assists with maintenance of a safe environment under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse in charge of the team and/or unit.
Requirements
- Previous patient care experience or student in nursing or another medical field preferred.
- Current BLS (AHA) and maintain current.
- Possesses knowledge of medical terminology, preferred.
- Minimum six months previous experience in an acute care hospital or physician’s office preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assists with maintenance of a safe environment under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse in charge of the team and/or unit.
