The Admitting Representative is responsible for securing appropriate patient account reimbursement by obtaining complex demographic, insurance and medical information and ensuring this is documented timely and accurately. Provides assistance, directions, and instructions to visitors, patients and the general public regarding hospital/patient information. Requirements

  • 1 year experience in customer service or healthcare registration
  • A track record in organizing and planning with demonstrated ability to effectively manage time and achieve results in a fast paced environment

Nice To Haves

  • H.S. Diploma or GED
  • Coursework/Training: Some college level coursework, particularly Medical Terminology or Medical Assistance
  • National Certification of CHAA upon hire
  • Admitting Representative and third party payor experience
