Opportunity Overview We have an immediate opening for a Per Diem Patient Services Representative to join our team at IVF Florida in Jacksonville, Florida.  Schedule: On call/as needed weekdays and weekends This role provides the opportunity to grow within a nationally respected organization while remaining closely connected to the patients and teams you support every day.  

Requirements

  • High school diploma; Associates degree preferred
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a hospital or medical office setting
  • Extensive knowledge of insurance/benefits, medical terminology and medical billing
  • Knowledge of office procedure and office machines (i.e. computer, fax, copier, etc.)
  • Basic computer proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
  • Ability to communicate accurately and concisely
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in an ever-changing environment

Nice To Haves

  • Women's health, OB/GYN, or Fertility experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Welcome patients and visitors to the office
  • Answer and assist all incoming telephone calls
  • Schedule appointments using a computerized scheduling system and conducting follow-up calls when necessary
  • Provide timely and accurate information and quality customer service to incoming patient inquiries
  • Maintain patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal, financial, and insurance information
