About The Position

Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute (FCS) has built a national reputation for excellence since 1984, with over 250 physicians, 220 nurse practitioners and physician assistants, and nearly 100 locations. In partnership with Sarah Cannon, FCS is one of the largest clinical research organizations in the U.S., often leading in initiating research studies. The Patient Services Specialist (PSS) handles most clerical duties associated with a medical clinic. The role is divided into 'stations,' each with distinct job duties. All PSS employees are required to assist co-workers with all PSS job duties and are expected to learn and perform all duties of all front office stations. The position requires strong copywriting and editing skills, attention to detail, the ability to consistently meet time-sensitive priorities, and being highly organized and flexible. Other duties and projects may be assigned.

  • Receipt of various vaccinations, including the influenza vaccine, barring an approved exemption
  • Subject to drug/nicotine testing (drug-free and tobacco/nicotine free workplace)
