Requirements
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to stay organized and professional in a fast-paced environment
Nice To Haves
- One to three years of experience in a medical office or similar setting preferred
- Experience with EMR systems strongly preferred (Athena experience is a plus)
Responsibilities
- Greet patients and provide a warm, professional experience at every interaction
- Manage incoming calls, answer questions, and direct patients appropriately
- Schedule appointments efficiently and accurately
- Prepare for patient visits by verifying insurance, confirming appointments, collecting co-pays, and sharing any necessary pre-visit instructions
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records within the EMR system
- Support the care team by ensuring patient needs are clearly communicated prior to visits
- Assist with front office organization and day-to-day tasks to keep the practice running smoothly
