This role is responsible for various aspects of front office management and operation within Prisma Health. Key duties include complete and accurate patient registration, pre-certification, charge capture, and coding diagnoses. The position requires a high level of public contact and excellent interpersonal skills, involving tasks such as arranging patient pre-payments, enforcing financial agreements, and handling billing processes. The Patient Services Representative will also file insurance claims, assist patients with insurance forms, process unpaid accounts, and serve as a liaison between patients and medical support staff. Additional responsibilities include greeting patients, verifying and updating insurance information, maintaining appointment books, providing front office phone support, and managing patient accounts and medical records.
