Reports directly to the Patient Services Team Lead and responsible for various activities related to patient care, including greeting and checking‐in patients, as well as verifying information supplied by patients. You should be able to work in a fast‐paced environment and demonstrate exceptional multitasking abilities. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Greets and assists patients with appointments and/or other inquiries. Assisting patients in filling out patient history forms, consent forms, and payment contract forms, when necessary. Obtaining patient addresses, contact details, insurance information, and other required documents. Receiving and processing cash and credit card payments for medical services rendered. Updating and verifying patient information at every visit. Reviewing patient accounts, identifying delinquent accounts, and collecting overdue payments. Scheduling patient appointments and making reminder calls. Answering, investigating, and/or directing patient inquiries or complaints to the appropriate medical staff member. Performing administrative and clerical duties, such as filing paperwork, when necessary. Handles and documents check‐in of walk‐in members on log‐sheet. Answers incoming calls and directs them accordingly. Performs other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
