A Patient Services Representative who excels in this role:

Facilitates the patient referral process and obtains appropriate
pre-certifications as requested by the provider(s).
Responsible for greeting patients; check-in, check-out, scheduling and
managing telephones and messages.
Collects and posts co-pays, deductibles and past due patient balances at the
time of service

Requirements

• Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
• Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
• Certifications: BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC)

Nice To Haves

• Preferred Minimum Work Experience: 2 years Medical Office experience Preferred.
• Experience with Medical Referrals Preferred
