About The Position

Mobility Bone & Joint Institute (MBJI), a division of Northeast Orthopaedic Alliance, is seeking a Patient Service Representative to join our Physical Therapy practice in Salem, NH. This role is a key part of the patient experience and works closely with both our Physical Therapy and medical provider teams.

The Patient Service Representative is responsible for welcoming patients into the practice, managing inbound and outbound calls, and ensuring patients are accurately registered in Athena EMR to support efficient and timely appointments.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of patient registration experience (required)
• Strong communication, customer service, and organizational skills

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a physical therapy office preferred
• Familiarity with Athena EMR strongly preferred
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus

Responsibilities

• Answer inbound calls and place outbound calls to patients
• Greet and check in patients for scheduled appointments
• Accurately register patients in Athena EMR
• Collect copays and outstanding balances
• Manage referrals and prior authorizations as needed
• Schedule follow-up appointments
• Provide general administrative support and perform other duties as assigned
