About The Position

We are seeking a Patient Services Representative to support front-office operations in a fast-paced clinical setting. This role focuses on delivering excellent customer service and ensuring a positive patient experience. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, customer-focused, and interested in building a career in the dental or healthcare field.

Requirements

  • Minimum 6 months of experience using Denticon in a dental setting
  • Experience handling high-volume phone communications
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
  • High school diploma or GED required

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a dental, medical, or healthcare office environment
  • Knowledge of insurance plans (HMO/PPO)

Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist patients in a friendly and professional manner
  • Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries in accordance with established protocols
  • Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments
  • Follow up on missed or canceled appointments
  • Maintain and update the appointment calendar
  • Register patients and manage check-in processes
  • Accurately post charges and process payments
  • Check and respond to voicemails on a daily basis
  • Ensure the waiting area is clean, organized, and welcoming
  • Assist patients with treatment plans and financial arrangements
  • Provide administrative support to office staff and management as needed
