A healthcare facility is seeking a Patient Services Representative to support a team-oriented dental office environment. This role focuses on delivering excellent customer service and ensuring a positive patient experience. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, professional, and interested in growing within the dental or healthcare field.

Requirements

  • Minimum 6 months of experience in a dental setting (preferred)
  • Experience handling phone communications
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
  • High school diploma or GED required

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a dental, medical, or healthcare office
  • Knowledge of insurance plans (HMO/PPO)

Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist patients in a friendly and professional manner
  • Answer incoming calls and respond to patient inquiries in accordance with office policies
  • Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments
  • Follow up on missed or canceled appointments
  • Maintain and update appointment calendars
  • Register patients and manage sign-in processes
  • Accurately post charges and process payments
  • Check and respond to voicemails daily
  • Ensure the waiting area remains clean, organized, and welcoming
  • Assist patients with treatment plans and financial arrangements
  • Provide general administrative support to office staff and management
