Patient Services Representative - Almara OGI - Maple Grove
About The Position
The Patient Services Representative is responsible for patient registration and check in as well as patient phone calls. There are 2 full-time roles, Monday - Friday 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM and every 11th Saturday at our fertility clinic in the Maple Grove location. There is 1 full-time role, Monday - Friday 7:15am-3:45pm and every 11th Saturday at our fertility clinic in the Maple Grove location. Almara Women's Health | Obstetrics, Gynecology & Infertility is an operating division of Infinite Health Collaborative (i-Health), a group of local medical practices, owned and led by its physicians, on a mission to give patients more control over their healthcare.
Requirements
- High School diploma/GED or equivalent
- Customer Service experience required
Nice To Haves
- Medical terminology knowledge preferred
Responsibilities
- Greet and register patients; collect co-payments, pre-payments, insurance information, and photo ID
- Verify and document insurance information as defined by current business practices
- Accurate and timely scheduling of new and existing patients in the current practice management system
- Communicate all pertinent information to patients, including: appointment information, directions, check-in times, referral information and copayments
- Chart preparation and management
- Answer patient calls, schedule appointments and direct calls as appropriate
- Maintain a working knowledge of health care plan requirements and health plan networks
- Maintain timely communication with patients, families, and staff
- Any and all other duties as assigned

- Actual starting pay will vary based on education, skills, and experience.
- A $750 sign-on bonus will be offered for select roles, payable on first paycheck with a 12-month commitment. Internal applicants are not eligible for the sign-on bonus.
