Patient Services Representative - Twin Cities Orthopedics
About The Position
The Patient Services Representative is responsible for patient registration and check in as well as clinical support duties. This is a full-time role varied hours, between 6:30 AM and 5:00 PM, out of our Stillwater, Woodbury & Hudson locations. This position does require participating in a scheduled weekend rotation to cover our urgent care hours. Twin Cities Orthopedics is an operating division of Infinite Health Collaborative (i-Health), a group of local medical practices, owned and led by its physicians, on a mission to give patients more control over their healthcare.
Requirements
- High School diploma/GED or equivalent
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
- Customer Service experience required
Nice To Haves
- Administrative or Medical Office experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Greet and register patients; collect co-payments, pre-payments, insurance information, and photo ID
- Verify and document insurance information as defined by current business practices
- Accurate and timely scheduling of new and existing patients in the current practice management system
- Communicate all pertinent information to patients, including: appointment information, directions, check-in times, referral information and copayments
- Chart preparation and management
- Maintain a working knowledge of health care plan requirements and health plan networks
- Maintain timely communication with patients, families, and staff
- Any and all other duties as assigned

- Actual starting pay will vary based on education, skills, and experience.
- A $1,500.00 sign-on bonus will be offered, payable on first paycheck with a 12-month commitment. Internal applicants are not eligible for the sign-on bonus.
