PATIENT SERVICES REPRESENTATIVE (PSR), CONTACT CENTER , MIT Health , is responsible for management of incoming phone calls and inbox messages from patients; being the first point of contact patients and other personnel have with MITMedical; processing registration of new patients ensuring accurate insurance eligibility information, scheduling appointments, advising of co-pays, pre-visit process, answering general inquiries, screening callers for triage and coordinating with internal and external service areas. This position effectively communicates with patients, providers and other service areas and troubleshoots complex patient inquiries.
