About The Position

Jennie Stuart Health is seeking a Patient Services Representative Float to support our Provider Based Clinic offices. This position is responsible for front office support, patient registration, scheduling, and maintaining accurate patient and insurance information across multiple clinic locations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
• Previous experience in a medical practice preferred
• Strong communication, telephone, and computer skills required
• Valid driver’s license required
• Must be willing to travel among Jennie Stuart Health Provider Based Clinic offices

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors upon arrival
• Register patients and verify demographic and insurance information
• Scan insurance cards, photo IDs, and patient documents into the system
• Collect copays and outstanding balances
• Check patients into the practice management system and route paperwork appropriately
• Schedule patient appointments
• Answer phones, take messages, and distribute calls appropriately
• Prepare work or school excuses as needed
• Maintain the front office, lobby area, and office supply levels
