About The Position

Responsible for greeting visitors, direct visitors to correct destination, answer telephone, monitor visitor access and maintain security awareness, assist in scheduling conference room bookings, assist mailroom in the proper delivery of interoffice mail, scheduling appointments as necessary, stocking basic supplies, and promoting teamwork in the building. Ability to work for multiple departments. Customer service is top priority, complies with policies and procedures, follows all safety regulations, creates an environment based on Standards of Behavior. Performs any and all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school graduate or GED
  • One year experience in customer service or clerical.
  • Skill in greeting visitors and answering the telephone in a pleasant and helpful manner.
  • Ability to speak clearly and concisely.
  • Ability to read, understand, and follow oral and written instruction.
  • Ability to sort and file material by alphabetic or numeric systems and ability to establish and maintain effective, professional working relationships with visitors, vendors and employees.
  • Knowledge of grammar, spelling and punctuation to type correspondence as necessary.
  • Knowledge of computers and relevant software application.
  • Skill in operating a photocopy machine, computer, and various other office machines.
  • Strong typing skills
  • Good organizational skills and the ability to effectively handle multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • The ability to multitask effectively and complete assignments in a timely manner is required.
  • Ability to work with others as a team and to coordinate office procedures.

Nice To Haves

  • Healthcare or medical office experience preferred for positions located in a clinical setting.
  • Attention to detail, initiative, reliability and stress tolerance are preferred.
