About The Position

The patient Services Manager is responsible for overall front office activities, including the reception area, and facilities. Also, responsible for directing and coordinating office services and related activities, including developing and supervising programs for the maximum utilization of services and equipment. Responsible for arranging internal office moves and providing arrangements for office meetings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred.
  • At least five years of experience in office management.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Basic to intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Excel, Word), as well as Practice Management and Electronic Medical Record software

Responsibilities

  • Manages the front-desk reception area to ensure effective telephone and mail communications both internally and externally to maintain professional image.
  • Supervises and coordinates overall administrative activities
  • Supervises the maintenance and alteration of office areas and equipment, as well as layout, arrangement, and housekeeping of office facilities.
  • Coordinates the purchase of office supplies and furniture, office equipment, etc., for the entire front office staff in accordance with company purchasing policies and budgetary restrictions.
  • Supervises the maintenance of office equipment, including copier, fax machine, etc.
  • Responsible for the facilities day-to-day operations (such as distributing building access keys and back-up to security access cards, etc.)
  • Participates as needed in special department projects.
