About The Position

The UNM Medical Group, Inc. is seeking an Full-time Patient Services Coordinator to join our Primary Care Clinic. This opportunity is a full-time day shift opening located in Rio Rancho, New Mexico . The shift is Monday - Friday | 7:30am - 4:30pm. Minimum $36,399 - Midpoint $44,754 Salary is determined based on years of total relevant experience. Salary is based on 1.0 FTE (full time equivalent) or 40 hours per week. Less than 40 hours/week will be prorated and adjusted to the appropriate FTE. The work schedule is Monday - Friday. Summary: Performs a variety of administrative support functions at a UNMMG Ambulatory Clinic, including scheduling appointments, receptionist duties, and verifying demographic and insurance information. Manages referrals and prior authorizations with insurance carriers, ensuring smooth patient service. Assists with patient concerns and complaints, acting as a liaison between patients, physicians, and other providers. About the Grande Primary Care Clinic: UNM Medical Group has opened a new Primary Care Clinic for the Rio Rancho community in the summer of 2021. The UNM Health Grande Clinic focuses on providing the local community their non-emergency medical needs. Services Provided at the Grande Clinic includes: General Primary Care (newborn and greater) Primary Medical Care Womens Health Annual Exams Sports Physicals Immunizations Treatment for Common Non-emergency Illness Health Promotion Disease Prevention Medication Management Diabetes Management Behavioral Health Why Join UNM Medical Group, Inc.? Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirements may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
• Verification of education and licensure (if applicable) will be required if selected for hire.
