About The Position

Position Summary: (Mobile, Al): Flexicrew Technical Services is seeking a Patient Service Coordinator to support daily front-office operations. This role serves as the first point of contact for patients and visitors and plays a critical role in ensuring a smooth, professional, and compassionate patient experience. Responsibilities include patient registration, scheduling, insurance verification, and administrative support while maintaining strict confidentiality and compliance standards. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Greet patients and visitors in a professional, courteous, and timely manner Register patients and accurately collect demographic and insurance information Verify insurance coverage and collect co-pays as required Schedule appointments and provide patients with clear instructions and appointment details Answer incoming phone calls, route calls appropriately, and accurately relay messages Maintain and update patient records in accordance with established procedures Perform administrative support duties including filing, data entry, and supply management Ensure compliance with HIPAA and all patient confidentiality standards Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming lobby and reception area Communicate effectively with clinical staff to support patient flow and coordination of care Perform additional duties as assigned to support office operations

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Prior receptionist, front desk, or medical office experience preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Strong customer service skills with a patient-focused mindset
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and multitasking abilities
  • Ability to adapt in a fast-paced clinical environment
  • Commitment to quality, professionalism, and teamwork
  • Ability to complete required e-learning courses within 90 days of hire
  • Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, and communicate effectively
  • Frequent use of hands for typing, handling documents, and operating office equipment
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds as needed
  • Requires corrected vision and hearing to perform job duties
  • Must be able to work during regular business hours
