The Denials Management Specialist is responsible for the review, research and appeal process for denied claims from third party payers to assist in reducing accounts receivables. The incumbent uses exceptional customer service skills in all interactions with personnel and third party payers; documents accounts with steps taken to appeal denials; analyzes, researches and tracks trends for all insurance denials; provides consistent feedback to department managers regarding denials and keeps department managers informed on matters regarding denials and coverage policies.
